About Domain Registration + Web Hosting

You need to register your domain name somewhere and then arrange web hosting. You’ve got two options, the choice is yours.

Option 1: DIY

Registering a domain yourself is super simple. Godaddy and Namecheap are two of the leading sites to do this and you can expect to pay $10 – $15/year, that’s all you need to know.

Hosting is something you will pay for monthly. Most small businesses with low web traffic will only require a basic shared hosting package and these can cost around $10-$20 per month. Good and cheap shared hosting packs are offered by many companies including Hostgator, Godaddy and many more. Sourcing a hosting provider with servers in your own country is optimal if you want a slight edge for your site’s speed and not all big name providers will offer this (most are US or Europe based).

Dedicated hosting is something reserved for serious online businesses with high traffic, Ecommerce, big blogs, software or banking sites.

Option 2: We Handle it For You

If it’s too much hassle or too confusing we can assist. We’ll either walk you through it or just do it ourselves. Ideally you should be the one registering your business domain though then we can handle the hosting for you.
